
Erica was born and raised in Pueblo. She grew up on the East Side and graduated from East High school in 2009. She received a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Colorado – Denver in 2012. She received her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 2016, and went on to become a public defender at the Committee for Public Counsel Services in Boston. Erica worked as a Roxbury Defender in the Roxbury, Dorchester, and Boston Municipal Courts, representing and counseling hundreds of clients from arraignment to trial. Erica is also a former board member of the National Lawyers Guild Massachusetts, where she contributed her legal and community organizing skills to advocate for justice and fight for the rights of the most marginalized.
Erica has expanded into the civil side of the courtroom, and is eager to bring that same passion for justice to help you with your legal issue.
